SPCPs are unique because they allow financial institutions to target specific groups, such as Latino borrowers, to offer more favorable credit terms. These programs are especially valuable in promoting racial equity and complement broader lending efforts. We’ll also discuss how the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) supports SPCPs and highlight the Black Developer Capital Initiative, an SPCP launched by LIIF in partnership with National Affordable Housing Trust. This SPCP provides flexible capital to Black affordable housing developers. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how Special Purpose Credit Programs can drive impactful change in lending and racial equity efforts!
