We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our 2017 National Training, Juntos Somos Más in Dallas, Texas, June 12-15, 2017 at the Westin Dallas Downtown Hotel.

Our National Training serves as a platform to discuss and share innovative and culturally-relevant best practices for immediate application in the communities that we serve. You’ll be able to engage with a diverse group of Network experts who have made it work and firmly believe that Juntos Somos Más.

This event consists of three expert-led tracks: Equitable Neighborhood Development; Financial Capability and Small Business Development.

The Equitable Neighborhood Development track is designed to assist public and private sector practitioners with identifying and influencing the impact of capital flow into communities. This track is for practitioners who acknowledge the importance of local context and see community-driven solutions.

The Financial Capability track is designed to assist participants in implementing culturally-relevant curriculum; developing financial coaching skills tailored to the needs of their community; identifying and helping clients utilize safe, affordable and proactive financial products and services; and recognizing the opportunities to influence financial capability policies on a local and national level.

The Small Business Development track will focus on unlocking the economic potential of Latino entrepreneurs, while minimizing the impact of cultural barriers they face to growing and sustaining their businesses. This track is designed for practitioners in the small business development and lending community, and will feature interactive training on topics including place-based strategies like incubators and mercados; federal and local policy implications for small businesses; communicating impact and program sustainability; and the nuts and bolts of managing a CDFI.

Early bird registration is now open!
