Oscar Marroquín serves as a Public Policy Analyst in NALCAB’s Washington, DC office where he supports the policy team in its efforts to advance NALCAB’s policy priorities and advocacy efforts on behalf of our members.

Prior to joining NALCAB, Oscar completed a term of service for AmeriCorps at the Boys and Girls Club of Western PA where he served as the Community Organizer for the Latino Community. Previously, he completed an internship in his family’s native Guatemala at the newspaper Diario La Hora. There he worked on the coverage of the 2019 Guatemalan Presidential Election and the United States’ Safe Third Country Agreement with Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Oscar earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh, while also being a member of its varsity soccer team.
