Using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Craig Torres, Viviana Hurtado, and Alexander Tanzi showed that Latina women 20 and older have higher labor force participation rates than U.S. women overall. 2 This is quite significant given that for long, Latinas consistently have had low rates of activity in the labor force.
