For the month of August, your representatives in Congress will be back in their home districts and states for the summer district work period. This provides a unique opportunity to communicate with them locally and advocate for the federal policies that help to strengthen our local communities and increase opportunities for Latinos including; funding for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), affordable housing programs, entrepreneurial assistance for small business and increased capital to support Latino entrepreneurs.
