Gracie Martinez
Gracie Martinez is a Program Manager, focusing on NALCAB’s federal programs where she manages the administration of the HUD-funded Community Compass program that focuses on building the assets of local communities through affordable housing and community development programs created to build assets in diverse communities across the country.
Prior to her current position, Gracie served as Housing Loan Coordinator for the City of San Antonio on the Owner-occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program. During her time with the Neighborhood and Housing Services Department, she assisted over 250 homeowners with the rehabilitation of their homes, ensuring safe housing and enhanced living conditions while improving the beautification of the community. Additional past positions include Detention Officer and Police Service Agent for the San Antonio Police Department. Gracie served the City of San Antonio for a total of 23 years.
Gracie retired from the US Navy Reserve as a Yeoman 1st Class after 20 years of service and two deployments. She holds an Associates of Arts degree from San Antonio College.
