NALCAB Receives $525,000 General Operating Support Grant from the Surdna Foundation

WASHINGTON, DC, June 8, 2026 — NALCAB (National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders) today announced a $525,000 general operating support grant from the Surdna Foundation.

NALCAB is a nonpartisan CDFI intermediary with 200+ member CDFI and economic development nonprofit organizations working to maximize the economic contributions of the Latino population to the U.S. economy. Its network extends across all 50 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. This investment will help NALCAB build the organizational resilience needed to grow its network and deepen its impact over the long term.

“We are honored by the Surdna Foundation’s continued confidence in NALCAB and in the power of Latino communities to drive national economic growth. This investment strengthens our ability to deliver on that mission, supporting the 200+ member organizations on the frontlines of economic opportunity in Latino and low-income communities.” said Marla Bilonick, President and CEO of NALCAB.
