Over the past decade, eight out of ten new businesses in the United States were Latino-owned. At NALCAB, we view small business ownership as a powerful strategy for building wealth, creating jobs, and promoting self-determination in Latino communities. This work moves us closer to a more prosperous nation for all.
Across the country, NALCAB members offer business training, expand access to capital, and lead efforts to create commercial corridors, incubators, and mercados.
NALCAB supports a national network of nonprofit organizations that provide locally informed small business development services. Through grantmaking, technical assistance, and access to capital, we help our members reduce barriers to entrepreneurship, grow their programs, and strengthen local economies.
