Financial Capability Program Specialist
Victoria Lopez serves as NALCAB’s Financial Capability Program Specialist, where she supports the delivery of financial capability grants, coordinates technical assistance, and helps plan site visits and webinars for member organizations across the country. Her work contributes to NALCAB’s broader efforts to advance economic opportunity in Latino communities and strengthen the financial stability of underserved populations.
Raised in Washington State by Panamanian and Puerto Rican parents, Victoria moved to San Antonio in 2018 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She began her career in nonprofit advocacy and public service, gaining experience in community health and housing access. Prior to joining NALCAB, she supported coordinated service delivery for young adults experiencing housing instability in Bexar County and worked in outreach and education with a national healthcare organization.
Victoria is committed to fostering access, opportunity, and belonging, and brings a culturally informed lens to her work supporting NALCAB’s national network.
