Sr. Program Manager of Special Projects
As Senior Manager of Special Projects, Steven-Alfonso is responsible for the management of complex special project activities and strategic initiatives crucial to the mission and vision of NALCAB. Within this role, Steven works to identify, plan, and execute projects aimed at advancing NALCAB’s organizational goals and objectives. Steven-Alfonso supports NALCAB’s strategic initiatives by overseeing grantmaking, technical assistance, and organizational support in the areas of economic development, neighborhood development, policy, and innovative new areas of work for NALCAB.
Before joining NALCAB, Steven-Alfonso worked with a national foundation focused on disrupting human trafficking through community education. In partnership with nonprofit organizations, he led a community-based student work-study program at the University of Texas at San Antonio and also held a leadership role in a local grassroots Latino arts nonprofit.
Steven-Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Non-Profit/ Organizational Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
