Financial Capability Program Manager

Nicole Andonie

Nicole Andonie serves as Program Manager for NALCAB’s Financial Capability team at NALCAB. In her role, she oversees grantmaking, technical assistance, and training to increase financial literacy and generational wealth for Latino communities.

Before joining NALCAB, Nicole made meaningful contributions at the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) in Washington, DC, as Senior Program Coordinator for the Empowered Women International program. In her role, she provided one-on-one technical assistance to entrepreneurs and coordinated the Entrepreneur Training for Success accelerator for women small business owners. During her time at LEDC, she became passionate about financial literacy for women, which led Nicole to spearhead the development of the Wealthy Woman program, a financial capability program for women and Latinas.

With over 20 years of experience and six years in community economic development, Nicole has developed skills and experience from both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, including program management, small business coaching, curriculum development, business development, marketing, and sales. She also lived and worked in Honduras for six years, which deepened her commitment to serving the Latino community.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science from Johnson & Wales University in Miami, FL, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain. In 2022, she was selected as a fellow in NALCAB’s prestigious Pete Garcia Community Economic Development Fellowship. She enjoys building relationships, making meaningful connections, and giving back to the community through volunteering.
