Board Member
Fernando Lemos serves as Executive Director of Mi Casa, Inc., a nonprofit affordable housing developer based in Washington, DC. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the housing and community development sector, with a focus on expanding access to safe, affordable housing in the region.
Trained in architectural design and certified as a home inspector, Mr. Lemos combines technical expertise with deep knowledge of nonprofit housing development. Originally from Paraguay, he is bilingual and has extensive experience engaging diverse communities throughout the District.
In addition to his leadership at Mi Casa, Mr. Lemos serves on the Board of Directors of several local organizations, including the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA), Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), Cornerstone, Inc., and the Council of Latino Agencies (CLA). He was recently nominated to the Board of Directors for the DC Housing Production Trust Fund.
