Associate Financial Capability Director
Prior to joining NALCAB, Brenda worked as a Financial Counselor for a local nonprofit in San Antonio. Previously, she worked as a Program Manager for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) managing two federal grants for undergraduate research programs. Brenda brings several years of experience in higher education, grassroots work and outreach for nonprofit organizations.
A native of El Paso, Brenda is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds bachelor's degrees in Communication and Hispanic Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
