Public Policy Analyst
As Public Policy Analyst at NALCAB, Andres manages policy research projects and advocacy initiatives, developing targeted communications strategies and cultivating relationships with policymakers at all levels of government to advance the organization's legislative priorities.
Before joining NALCAB, Andres served as a Health Policy Intern at Horizon Government Affairs in Washington, D.C., where he developed policy and advocacy materials and prepared summaries on key hearings, bills, and regulations to help clients make informed advocacy decisions.
Andres also gained experience through internships at Guidepost Strategies, where he supported government affairs by developing reports on Congressional hearings and think-tank events for senior management, and at FGS Global, where he analyzed media coverage, conducted research, and assessed the impact of legislation on clients.
Andres holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College, earning his degree through the Posse Foundation Full Tuition Leadership Scholarship.
