Senior Director of Special Projects
Before joining NALCAB, Ana spent twenty years working with local government and non-profit partners in San Antonio, California and Mexico on environmental health initiatives.
Her work has also spanned community relations, community engagement, media relations, behavior change campaigns, transportation planning and public finance.
As a San Antonio City Councilwoman, she spearheaded major initiatives focused on infrastructure, public health, and the environment.
Ana holds of Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She serves on the board of the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance and as co-chair of the Westside Creeks Restoration Oversight Committee.
