Victoria Lopez
Victoria Lopez serves as NALCAB’s Financial Capability Coordinator helping to streamline grant delivery, provide technical assistance, and organize site visits and webinars for member organizations focused on financial capability.
A Latina lesbiana raised by Panamanian and Puerto Rican parents, Victoria moved to San Antonio in 2018 from Washington State, where she began her journey in advocacy and public policy. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Race, Ethnicity, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Through her experience in community health with Planned Parenthood, Victoria has fostered a passion for helping underserved communities.
Prior to NALCAB, Victoria worked with the homeless population in Bexar County assisting young adults 18-24 experiencing homelessness. In this role, she worked closely with other community organizations to identify available resources and connect them to those in need. Victoria is deeply committed to supporting and uplifting LGBTQ+ and Latino communities, acting as a guiding voice to advocate for, assist, and amplify their voices in the manner she longed for during her upbringing. She aims to foster and safeguard a secure environment for individuals within marginalized communities.
