Andres-Jose Matos
Andres-Jose Matos serves as a Public Policy Associate in NALCAB’s Washington, DC office supporting the policy team in advancing NALCAB’s policy priorities and advocacy efforts on behalf of our members.
Before joining NALCAB, Andres served as a Health Policy Intern at Horizon Government Affairs in Washington, DC where he developed policy and advocacy materials and prepared summaries on key hearings, bills, and regulations to help clients make informed advocacy decisions. His previous experience also includes internships at Guidepost Strategies, supporting government affairs by developing reports on Congressional hearings and think-tank events for senior management, and at FGS Global, where he analyzed media coverage, conducted research, and assessed the impact of legislation on clients. Andres holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College, earning his degree through the Posse Foundation Full Tuition Leadership Scholarship.
