Cynthia Arreola Medina

Cynthia Arreola Medina is Project Director for NALCAB where she serves as the technical lead within the Federal Programs team. She brings more than 17 years of experience in nonprofit and higher education leadership, with expertise in organizational operations, grants management, and impact assessment.

Prior to joining NALCAB, Cynthia served as Assistant Dean of Operations at The University of Texas at San Antonio’s Alvarez College of Business, where she oversaw human resources, information technology, facilities, and strategic operations for a college serving more than 6,000 students. She also held leadership roles in UTSA’s Office of Inclusive Excellence, where she helped launch the university’s inaugural Inclusive Excellence division and led strategic initiatives related to institutional effectiveness, equity, and inclusion.

Cynthia began her career at NALCAB as an intern and advanced to Chief of Staff, playing a key role in the organization’s early growth and development. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a bilingual business certification through academic studies in Mexico and Argentina.
