Assistant Controller
Mark serves as an Assistant Controller, providing crucial support to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer in all facets of financial management.
Mark’s experience is rooted in nonprofit finance, where he ensures the integrity of the financial reporting, including preparing accurate, GAAP compliant monthly and annual statements for stakeholders like donors and government agencies.
Mark focuses heavily on compliance with grant agreements, maintaining robust internal controls, and leading initiatives to automate and digitize core accounting workflows.
He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).
