The National Alliance of Latino CDFI Executives (NALCE) is a NALCAB-led initiative that unites Latino-led and Latino-serving Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to drive equitable investment and expand economic opportunity in Latino communities.
Launched in 2022 with support from Capital One, NALCE has grown into a national collective of 93 member organizations committed to increasing access to capital, elevating Latino leadership in the financial sector, and building wealth in historically underserved areas.
Launched in 2022 with support from the Citi Foundation, NALCAB’s CDFI Certification Program helps emerging nonprofit loan funds secure CDFI certification—an essential milestone for accessing future investment.
Through technical assistance, training, grantmaking, and peer learning, NALCAB and NALCE have supported more than 45 organizations on the path to certification. In 2024 alone, 12 participants secured $3.6 million in CDFI Fund Technical Assistance Awards, tripling the number of NALCAB members receiving these grants in the past three years.
