NALCAB provides flexible loan products to support nonprofit member organizations engaged in small business lending, affordable housing, and community facility development. Whether an organization is planning its first project or scaling a proven model, our financing solutions are designed to meet members where they are and help move projects forward.
Since becoming a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in 2019, NALCAB has deployed more than $22 million in financing across the country. This includes affordable housing projects that serve families earning between 30 and 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI), and small business lending programs where over 80 percent of loans have supported Latino-owned businesses.
NALCAB currently offers a variety of loan products to help NALCAB members access capital, reduce risk, and strengthen their role in building economic opportunity. Explore the options below to learn more.
• Small Business Lending Capitalization Loans offer up to $1 million to help nonprofit lenders grow or launch small business loan funds.
• Small Business Loan Guarantees (SBLG) support nonprofit lenders by backing loans that fall just outside traditional lending criteria, giving organizations more flexibility to serve
• Commercial Real Estate Loans provide capital for the development of affordable housing and community facilities, from land acquisition through permanent financing.
• Rural Nonprofit Capacity Building Loans are designed for organizations working in rural areas and include flexible terms and below-market interest rates.
