NALCAB’s National Conference is the premier gathering for Latino economic development professionals from across the United States and Puerto Rico. The annual event brings together hundreds of nonprofit leaders, funders, and practitioners to engage in timely conversations, strengthen their skills, and build lasting connections across the field.

Each year, the conference features a dynamic lineup of influential speakers from policy makers and funders to community-based leaders and innovators. Sessions are designed to support real-world application and cover topics such as small business development, affordable housing, rural strategies, nonprofit management, capital access, and organizational growth. Attendees participate in hands-on workshops, peer learning sessions, and unique experiences like Visitando el Barrio, a guided tour that highlights local neighborhood revitalization efforts led by NALCAB members.

Following a successful 2024 conference in Washington, DC, NALCAB’s 2025 National Conference themed Leading the Way: Abriendo Caminos will take place in Nashville, TN, from September 15–17. This year’s gathering will focus on expanding access to capital, strengthening nonprofit leadership, and supporting locally driven economic growth. By convening a national network of changemakers, the conference underscores the essential role Latino communities play in driving long-term economic prosperity for the nation.

NALCE | The National Alliance of Latino CDFI Executives (NALCE) is a NALCAB initiative that unites and amplifies the voices of Latino-led Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), driving capital to the communities they serve. Since launching in 2022, NALCE’S membership has grown to 93 member organizations across the country. In 2024, NALCE staff participated in over 20 industry panels and roundtables conveying their impact, perspective, and experience.
