Duanne Andrade

Duanne Andrade is the Executive Director of the Solar and Energy Loan Fund (SELF), where she leads efforts to raise public, private, and philanthropic capital to expand access to affordable, sustainable home improvement financing. She oversees SELF’s financial operations, risk management, and loan portfolio performance, while also developing innovative lending strategies designed to serve low- and moderate-income homeowners.

Originally from Bolivia, Duanne developed a global perspective while living in eight countries across four continents. Her professional background includes roles in banking and microfinance institutions in the United States, Bolivia, and Mexico. She has also served as a consultant to early-stage ventures and financing programs, focusing on inclusive economic development and environmentally focused lending models, including energy efficiency initiatives.
Duanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics from New York University (NYU), where she also studied at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. She earned an MBA through the Harvard International Institute for Development (HIID) in cooperation with the Catholic University of Santa Cruz in Bolivia. She is also a Development Finance Certified Professional (DFCP).
