She brings nearly 20 years of experience in technical planning, public-sector leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, and a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Previously a San Antonio City Councilwoman for District 7, she spearheaded major initiatives focused on infrastructure and energy efficiency. Earlier in her career, Ana worked with local governments and nonprofit partners in California to design and implement community-centered initiatives.
Originally from Mexico and raised in San Antonio, Ana is dedicated to community service, including adult literacy and immigrant support. Ana is currently a Board Member of the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance.
