As the Senior Manager of Special Projects, Steven-Alfonso is responsible in helping advance NALCAB’s strategic goals and varying program areas. Steven oversees grantmaking, technical assistance, and organizational support in the areas of economic development, equitable neighborhood development, and policy for communities of color.

Prior to NALCAB, Steven-Alfonso worked with a national foundation focused on educating the community and disrupting human trafficking. Steven-Alfonso also served with Grassroots Latino Arts Nonprofits and then with the University of Texas-San Antonio, where they led student community programs with Nonprofit partners.
