As Senior Manager for Lending & Asset Management, Mario supports the development and management of loan opportunities for capital distribution to the NALCAB member network.  His previous experience includes marketing mortgage products to small credit unions in the Coastal Bend of Texas. Prior to joining NALCAB, he served as a Business Coordinator for Texas A&M University and in various program and financial management roles at the Nueces County Community Action Agency.

Mario graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Texas A&M University where he spent a summer studying and interning abroad in Mexico City. He  is the first graduate of the Texas A&M University School of Law-San Antonio Center and earned a Master of Jurisprudence specializing in business law & compliance. He is also a graduate of the inaugural ULI San Antonio 2021 Development 360 Program.

A native of Laredo, Mario is fluent in English and Spanish. Mario currently serves as treasurer of Taylor’s Place, a 501c3 serving students and families of Texas A&M University in College Station as they transition through higher education.
