As Program Manager, Mario manages the day-to-day implementation of NALCAB’s Rural Capacity Building Program and provides support to other federal technical assistance engagements. Prior to joining NALCAB, he served as a Business Coordinator for Texas A&M University and in various program and financial management roles at the Nueces County Community Action Agency.

Mario graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Texas A&M University where he spent a summer studying and interning abroad in Mexico City. He  is the first graduate of the Texas A&M University School of Law-San Antonio Center and earned a Master of Jurisprudence specializing in business law & compliance.

A native of Laredo, Mario is fluent in English and Spanish. Mario currently serves as treasurer of Taylor’s Place, a 501c3 serving students and families of Texas A&M University in College Station as they transition through higher education.
