Resource Development: Community Economic Development (CED) Grant Program

The Office of Community Services (OCS) offers an annual Community Economic Development (CED) federal grant program open to private, nonprofit organizations for projects that support or expand new and existing businesses with a goal of improving the community and creating jobs for low-income individuals.

Business Incubators, Commercial Kitchens and Mercados

In this workshop, NALCAB network members will share successful strategies that have been used to develop and operate business incubators, mercados and commercial kitchens around the country.

Join the discussion to learn how these organizations have successfully supported entrepreneurs and helped transform their communities through shared working spaces, access to commercial space, public policy advocacy, and technical assistance. Supported by Kaiser Permanente and funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the US Small Business Administration. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.

Latino Economic Policy Summit: Leading America's Recovery
