Pedro Ramos serves as a Senior Vice President at Jefferies LLC in the firm’s Municipal Finance group. Based in Denver, he currently leads and supports the Firm’s banking and municipal underwriting efforts in Colorado, New Mexico and various parts of Texas including the greater San Antonio region, South Texas and West Texas. He is responsible for providing investment banking and underwriting services to municipal and 501(c)(3) clients.

Pedro previously held the position of Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Securities in their Public Finance Group. His experience also includes financings for cities, counties, states, water and wastewater systems, airports, ports, transit systems, school districts, public universities and utility systems. He’s assisted in structuring and selling debt secured by ad valorem taxes, sales taxes, lease back/appropriation payments and a range of users’ fees such as water, power and broadband. Over the last seven years, Pedro has led or been involved in more than $15 billion of financings for issuers in the western United States such as the San Antonio Water System, the Denver Regional Transportation District, Albuquerque Public Schools, Los Angeles County and Los Angeles World Airports, among many others.

Pedro is originally from Eunice, New Mexico and earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He currently resides in Denver with his wife and twin daughters.
