NALCAB Announces the Extension of the Deadline for Submission of Responses to a Request for Qualifications for Consulting Services and Additional Submission Requirements

San Antonio, TX (February 20, 2012)--NALCAB publicly released a request for qualifications for consulting services on January 18, 2012. NALCAB is extending the deadline for the submission of responses from Monday, February 20, 2012 to Monday February 27, 2012. Further, the RFQ directs respondents to submit two HUD forms if they seek to provide services in connection with NALCAB's HUD-funded OneCPD Technical Assistance program. Technical Assistance (TA) Consultants Requested

Apply to become a TA Consultant for NALCAB

NALCAB seeks to identify individuals, firms and organizations that have the capacity to provide community and economic development related technical assistance services.  In responding to this RFQ, prospective service providers will be required to identify the service that they propose to provide, as well as, the geographic area in which they propose to provide that service.  Qualified respondents will be eligible to provide services for NALCAB and/or its member organizations for a 2 year period.  Qualification to provide services is not a guarantee of a contract. 

Qualifications

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to invite proposals from qualified and experienced consultants or technical assistance providers to develop strategic approaches in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Community development
  • Affordable housing development and management
  • Neighborhood economic development
  • Small business development
  • Financing, lending and underwriting
  • Construction and rehabilitation management
  • Project management
  • Organizational capacity building and non-profit management
  • Strategic planning.

Application Deadline

Deadline Extended to February 27, 2012

Proposals will be accepted electronically or by regular mail.  Please e-mail complete proposal with required attachments to Levar Martin at lmartin@nalcab.org.

If you choose to send your proposal by regular mail, the package must be postmarked no later than February 27, 2012.  The delivery address is:
