One of NALCAB’s goal is to create a national forum where NALCAB’s members, public policy makers, and partners can connect with their peers from around the country to network, share best practices and discuss public policy issues. In 2010 and 2011, over 550 individuals attended NALCAB’s national conferences and border summit.
NALCAB accomplishes this goal by hosting two events on a national and regional level:
National Conferences
NALCAB's National Conferences are designed to address the needs and interests of Latino leaders, and aspiring leaders, in the community development and asset building fields. It is where all of NALCAB's efforts and programs intersect and NALCAB members have the unique opportunity to connect with their peers from around the country. Border Summit
Since 2008, NALCAB has hosted the annual Border Summit that attracts asset building practitioners, funders and federal officials from across the country to address pressing issues associated with the U.S.-Mexico border economy and developing border communities.
