Building Assets in Emerging Communities

One of NALCAB's strategy is to build regional networks for a better opportunity for scaled investment and impact. The quickly growing Latino population led NALCAB to create Latino asset building regional networks in the Northwest, Deep South and the U.S.-Mexico Border regions.

NALCAB is operating the nation's only program focused on building the capacity of asset building nonprofits that serve emerging Latino communities across the Northwest, Deep South and the U.S.-Mexico Border regions. These regions are competently responding to the asset building needs and opportunities of the quickly growing Latino and immigrant communities.

One of NALCAB's primary strategic goals is to catalyze the development of a regional nonprofit infrastructure that can deliver culturally and linguistically relevant asset building services to address the needs of emerging Latino populations, particularly in regions where such infrastructure does not exist.

With over $750,000 from private regional foundations and corporate partners, NALCAB has been able to provide technical assistance and make pass through grants to nonprofit community development/ asset building organizations.
